Interesting concept, but how do you foresee something like this actually working?

Cause at the moment, any site or publication can (theoretically) say anyone said anything; there’s no real way to be sure they’re writing what the person actually said.

So how would a blockchain based authentication system fix this? Would someone have to sign their quote with a private key or something? How would that sort of thing confirm they actually said what’s being reported?

And then if it did work, how would you try and get both publications and sources to actually use it?

Because it’s an interesting suggestion, I’m just wondering whether anyone’s actually been considering something like this.
