Interesting to see that millenials actually don’t switch jobs as much.

And it makes me wonder where the old narrative came from. Perhaps it was from the tech world? Because from what I hear, developers are encouraged to switch jobs on a fairly regular basis (usually every 3 years or so), especially in Silicon Valley.

Maybe somewhere along the line, tech company turnover got mixed up with general millennial job turnover, since the tech industry is very overrepresented on the internet and the general developer age in a startup skews lower than the population as a whole.
